[SharePoint4MEA : Arabic Video Series] Implementing Highly Available SharePoint 2010 & 2013 Farms on Windows Azure IaaS

On behalf of SharePoint4MEA team, I’m really pleased to announce the availability of a new Arabic Video series that shows and explains in a step-by-step manner how Highly Available SharePoint 2010 and 2013 Farms can be created on Windows Azure Infrastructure as a Service. The video series was created by our SharePoint Expert, Mahmoud Hamed as a response for some requests that we received earlier and it’s available now on our YouTube channel .

Windows Azure is really amazing, it provides an on-demand infrastructure that scales and adapts to changing business needs. There is a lot of white papers out there on the internet that explains how you can create a SharePoint farm with High-availability but this series is intended to explain and show the whole process via short videos along with the different challenges that might arise along the way. You can watch the series fromhere.

Please note that the videos were recorded in Arabic but even if you don’t understand Arabic you can still follow along.

[New Arabic Curation] Managing the Lifecycle of SharePoint Solutions

What is Curah?

Curah! has a very specific purpose: to help people searching in Google or Bing find annotated collections of great content that specifically target common user questions.
We’ve all been there before, typing in a search query and then hunting and clicking through pages of search results wondering where the good stuff is, what’s reputable, what’s appropriate, what’s current. A Curah! page takes the guesswork out of this process because it has been hand-selected and annotated by industry experts.

My Curations:

Since I really love the idea, I’ve decided to use it to create and share some content. My first Curation is in Arabic and is all about Managing the Lifecycle of SharePoint Solutions using Visual Studio 2012.

What is heck is the Cross-Site Collection Publishing?

The Cross-Site Collection Publishing feature enables you to create and manage content from one location, and publish across and to numerous sites without duplicating or replicating content-content stays in place as a single source of truth.
